Verity Fowler-Rouault secures acquittal for a youth client accused of two counts of Rape
Following a 3 day trial at Leicester Youth Court, before a District Judge, Ms Fowler-Rouault’s client was acquitted of two counts of Rape. The trial involved the careful cross-examination of two young witnesses one aged 15 years old and one aged 13 years old, arguments on the complex conclusions of forensic evidence and lengthy submissions on how inconsistencies should be handled.
