Tomas Quinn of Farringdon Chambers, led by Tim Clark KC of 23 Essex Street, represented SM, who was charged with Murder and Manslaughter.
After a five-week trial at Luton Crown Court, SM was found not guilty of both Murder and Manslaughter.
SM faced allegations concerning being part of a group of four others who attacked and killed a 17 year old in the streets of Luton. The case involved careful consideration of the doctrine of withdrawal from a joint enterprise, prior to an offence being committed.
