Shusmita Deb Secures Acquittal in an Assault on Emergency Worker Trial.
Shusmita’s client was charged with assaulting an emergency worker, namely a police officer. The trial also involved two other defendants also charged with assaulting police officers. The case was transferred from Harrow Crown Court to the Old Bailey. The trial lasted nine days. The jury unanimously acquitted all defendants.
