Martin McCarthy KC leading Tom Quinn and expertly assisted by Syed Shah at Spartans Law Solicitors secure outright acquittal on charges of Murder/Manslaughter at the Old Bailey.
The case involved six defendants who were said to have attacked a drug dealer while he was a passenger in a taxi. All six men were in a vehicle which caused the taxi to stop.
Two of the men involved were armed with swords and launched an attack on the deceased. All six were said to be part of a joint enterprise. Through a carefully run cut throat defence, it was demonstrated that our client was not part of the plan and he was acquitted of all charges.
