Jack Jennett successfully defends in another Fraud Prosecution
Jack’s client was prosecuted by the Local Authority for Fraud by Misrepresentation, Having Articles for the Use in Fraud and Using False Instruments in relation to fraudulent claims made against the London Borough of Lambeth. After a full review of the case and identifying several issues with the admissibility of the evidence the Prosecution reviewed their case and offered no evidence in relation to all counts. The decision was made on the basis that there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction and that the case was no longer in the public interest just a week before trial. As a result, Jack’s client maintains his Good Character.
The case highlights the careful consideration and eye for detail that Jack maintains in all his cases.
Jack continues to represent clients in all matters of financial crime including Fraud, Money Laundering and POCA and Asset Recovery proceedings.
