Jack Jennett succeeds in insurer funded Road Traffic Accident case
Jack Jennett’s client, KR, was acquitted following a 2-day trial. KR’s vehicle had hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road, causing life changing injuries. The case was of great significance to the defendant who is dependent upon his driving licence. The defendant was adamant that at the material time he had been driving with due care and attention and that he could not have reasonably avoided a collision with the pedestrian. Jack cross-examined the Complainant, his wife and 4 civilian witnesses who witnessed the incident. Jack also called expert evidence in support of the defendant's case.
Jack was privately instructed and assisted by John Dance of DWF.
Jack is regularly instructed on a private basis by both individuals and insurers in relation to driving offences and understands the impact and sensitivities of such cases.
