Ioana Nedelcu defends in 4.2 million pounds Boodles heist
Ioana Nedelcu represented LL at her 7-day trial at Southwark Crown Court. In what was described as the the highest-value theft from a shop ever committed in the UK, LL stood accused of swapping diamonds for pebbles in a £4.2 million audacious sleight of hand heist at the luxury London jewellers in March 2016.
The defence raised was one of mistaken identity, with LL identifying her late sister on the CCTV. The case attracted widespread media attention. Click here for the article.
