The case involved four defendants in a real who did it mystery. The prosecution case was that the defendant and another were present in the flat when two others entered leading to a 5th male present having his throat cut and left to die whilst the others fled the scene.
All four were said to be a party to the joint enterprise.
In a highly tactically run defence Claire’s client was the only one to be acquitted of murder, manslaughter and assisting an offender.
