Claire Davies KC secures Not Guilty verdict on murder
Claire represented a defendant who stood trial for murder. The defendant and his co-defendant were accused of assaulting a friend whom the defendant had been drinking with previously that day when following the assault they put him in the canal and left him for dead. The defendant also had pleaded to perverting the course of justice. Claire's client was acquitted of murder and convicted of manslaughter. The co-defendant was convicted of murder.
