Claire Davies KC secures another Not Guilty on Murder case.
Claire Davies KC leading Nicholas Alexander represented a client who stood trial for a revenge murder over a drug debt. Claire's client was one of a group who was said to have armed themselves with weapons and hunted down the victim and his group deliberately running them down with a car. During the course of the 6 week trial Claire's client was subject to significant cut throat defences by others and bad character applications. The client was acquitted of murder and attempted murder and convicted of manslaughter and wounding. The Judge at sentencing stated he was not satisfied Claire's client had had a weapon.
