Claire Davies KC leading James Elvidge secure acquittal in murder trial
Claire Davies KC and James Elvidge were instructed to represent a client accused of murder. It was alleged he had driven deliberately at a drug dealer intending to kill or seriously injure in a revenge attack. The deceased had robbed the client at machete point of his drugs and money. Following a 2 week trial including cross examination of eye witnesses and expert witnesses the jury returned NG verdict on Murder and convicted the client of manslaughter.
