12 week trial at Canterbury Crown Court
Following a 12 week trial at Canterbury Crown Court, James Elvidge secured the acquittal of his client, one of four defendants, of human trafficking on all counts. It was alleged that the conspiracy trafficked vulnerable men from the Czech Republic and Slovakia to work for little pay whilst being housed in poor conditions. Read more in KentOnLine Report here.
